All basic hand tools (glass cutters, rulers, running pliers, grosers, etc.), fuser's glues and standard grinders* are available for use. We suggest that if possible, you bring your own "tool kit" of hand tools for your own comfort. No techniques are taught during Fuser's Open Studio Time. It will be offered at various times.

Ready to Fuse?


  • Registration is required.

  • Bring or purchase your glass and glass accessory items (frit, stringers, dichro, paint, etc) they are not included.   

  • Cranberry suggests that you bring your own "tool kit" if possible.

  • Bring your own paint brushes (Lori is protective of her brushes).

  • Drill Press and any other drilling equipment available but you provide the bits.

  • Cranberry's slumping forms are available solely for use in our studio. Limited supply.

  • Kilns will be loaded and programmed by one of the Cranberry Crew.

  • Personal tools, materials and projects may not be stored at Cranberry. (We just don't have the space.)

  • Arrangements to fuse projects made outside of Fuser's Open Studio Time are welcome. Just contact Lori to coordinate scheduling. (a.k.a. renting kiln space)




  • Fuser's Open Studio Time is $12 per 2 hour session.

  • Additional charges apply for kiln firings and any additional purchases.


Kiln Firing Fees/Load: Includes all primer, loading and unloading and first general cleaning of project.

  •  9 by 10" hexagon.....................$15

  •  13" circle..................................$20

  •  15 by 16" hexagon...................$25

  •  18" by 28" rectangle.................$50


*Glass tile saw, Taurus Ring Saw, Gemini Apallo and Lap Wheel have seperate fees and stipulations to be discussed  project specified with Lori.
