Lori Nason, President of Cranberry Stained Glass Studio & Supply, has been a serious student of stained glass since 1998, having mastered many of the traditional methods for construction of stained glass. She is forever interested in what is current and new in the industry in terms of product and techniques and has traveled across North America seeking out workshops and studios of other glass artisans.
While working in her home studio in Illinois, she was commissioned by several independent studios and home owners to design, build and install major stained glass works. Additionally she has held several successful shows for the presentation and sale of her decorative design creations.
Returning to Nova Scotia after 22 years away, Lori was inspired to "GO BIG", striking a lively partnership with Penny Bedal and opening their own 4,300 square foot studio in Bayers Lake Industrial Park in Halifax.
Lori's passion for glass is evident every day as she widens her networking connections and warmly welcomes all visitors, clients and customers to Cranberry.

Complimenting Lori's skills is Vice President, Penny Bedal. Penny has had a passion for stained glass since 1992. Since then she has taken numerous classes and workshops to increase her skills in both cold and warm glass techniques.
In 1997 she began sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with others as she has developed and taught a variety of glass classes to students of all ages in Ontario and, most recently, in Nova Scotia. While in Ontario, Penny organized artisan studio tours and participated in numerous art festivals before moving to Nova Scotia in 2000.
Inspired by Canada's Group of Seven, Penny enjoys the challenges of incorporating natural elements in her glass designs and appreciates the edginess of asymetrical and abstract work.
Teaming up with Lori Nason in 2005 has allowed Penny's creativity to thrive and both partners welcome any chance to shut down their computers and go into the workroom to "play", their term for research and development, with new products and out-of-the-box creative concepts.
